The name Fish Fry would have been the dead giveaway. (Pun totally intended but no one is to die)

The pork chops are supposedly great.  In all honesty the bigger concern would be if the same grill or utensils were used.

I like your pun! 😂 I don’t think I’d die from a little bit, but I’ve never tested that theory. I don’t want to find out the hard way. The level of sick I would get is bad enough.
I am very careful about those cross contamination issues. My biggest concern is generally with anything fried. Many places dump everything that is going to be fried into the same fryer. There is a silver lining to that issue, though. It keeps me from ordering all the fried foods that I love but shouldn’t be eating. I have found fried shrimp, fried mushrooms (another allergen) fried fish, you name it mixed in with my French fries or fried chicken. That’s after informing my server about my allergies. Fortunately, this has never happened on a cruise ship on any of the lines we’ve sailed, but it has happened many times in restraints on shore. Not to me any more, but in DH’s orders. Fortunately, he does not have food allergies.

The adult area is under construction. I have no idea about the finished product and deadline.

That looks pretty landlocked to me. I want to look out at, and be able to swim in the ocean. Not a pond with salt water and sand around it.

We will be there in mid April. I’ll check it out.

When I was there in December one of the tram drivers said it should be done by late fall.  He didn't have any other info to share.

One of the pier workers in Nassau said the grand opening is scheduled for May for new terminal but thought the shopping area would be open in March or early April.

I also have an allergy to shrimp (not severe and only gastrointestinal) and don't bother eating any seafood as I have never been tested and don't want to find out the hard way by trying anything else.  Also, it could go to anaphylactic without notice.  Besides, DH doesn't eat any fish or seafood.  We just tend to go to Senor Frog's in Nassau.  One, for the fact they serve tacos and two for the view of the port as well as being a good walk.  Food is only a driver in ports as we prefer to eat lunch ashore when we can.  In Bermuda, we go to Frog and Onion for lunch or dinner every trip.  In PR, we always find a restaurant that serves real PR food as my DH is PR.

Every been to Swizzle Inn, toward the other end of the island? Any thoughts on that place for lunch or dinner? We will be in Bermuda for 48 hours in September. Plan to go there at least once.

This was waiting in our cabin. We didn’t realize how hungry we were until I saw it. The drinks were still ice cold. Daiquiri and Mud slides. Damn Daniel.

This certainly isn’t the BFE lifestyle we are used to at home. Gotta say, this year is better than last year.

Gotta say Owen’s office is a bit better than Super Mario’s. SM, if you’re following along, I mean he has cookies and fajitas. For 15 that’s all he needs.

Hope Owen took those glasses off right after that picture, otherwise he is going to look like a Racoon with a serious bad looking sunburn.

Wimp

Actually, people who sat in the front row were horrible tonight, no responses for the comedian or anything. He actually wandered around the whole venue and started making jokes with the people in the very back of the club. Portable microphones.

This also happened. We played “The Pusher”.

Our $40 turned into $28. We got two $10 bills to drop. First there was one.

And then there were two. I’ve never seen the pusher drop bills. Ever.

Deniro will show up. He took care of us and two other cabanas. He is also the cabana lead for the water park. He was the supervisor.  He also sent a text to Sherrie, who took care of us last fall.  She was on holidays back home in South Africa. He’s wearing Owen’s glasses on for the photo.

We have not been to the Swizzle Inn but have gone past it on the public bus.  We have eaten in St George at the  White Horse Inn.  The White Horse was recommended to us by friends who were Navy pilots and were stationed in Bermuda when the US Navy had personnel there.  We've also eaten at a pub in Hamilton called The Hog Penny.  Food was good but seating is a little cramped.  Also, if you're looking to try a Rum Swizzle, most every place on the islands serves them.  I said islands because Bermuda is actually made up of multiple islands connected by bridges.

Good morning folks. Sea day today. I passed on the D+ ”toast with an officer” which is happening today. The 90s promenade dance party was last night, but we missed it. I think NYE has moved the shows around somewhat this week.

We had a late night and so has Owen. He has actually been going to the Teen Club and has made some friends, girls too. 😉  I asked if his was using his “maneuvers” in front of our cabin stewards and he blushed. Not sure what they are, but my Dad job was done for the night.

Flow riding this morning and I’m not sure what from there.

A couple photos from sunset. @Sea Dog don’t worry, it held for 40 minutes it was out there. If not, it could have been in the drink.

I saw this photo and immediately went into PTSD. I don't think I'll ever feel comfortable again seeing a suction cup mount. I'm traumatized. 😳

This what was happening for the last hour or so. The ship did a hard turn during flow riding and Lisa and I knew something was up.

Thankfully, I think, that fact that no one was in the raft is a good thing. In a nutshell, the cost guard has been notified and will pick up the empty raft. They said it was a 20 plus person life raft with the name Viking on it.

The fact that it was spoted from a great distance in amazing. Kudos to the bridge crew.
