Here’s the address that I have used before for the stock credit with Princess from the stock request form.

Are these address still valid?

Tom🤔

No, as the majority of responses indicate.   The new process thru Stockperks is far more efficient.

Has anyone had any push back when applying for stock credit on a casino comped cruise?

We almost always have casino comped cruises and have never had issues getting military or stock OBC.  I have not tried the StockPerks app yet for two of our upcoming cruises but I can't imagine it should be an issue.  If so, there will be a lot of unhappy cruisers!

I just received an automatic reply from Benefit, Shareholder (PCL) <sbpcl@princesscruises.com>. However, don't believe that 21 days - it is usually a lot quicker than that.

Thank you for submitting your request for Carnival Corporation Shareholder Benefits.  Due to current high volumes, please allow up to 21 days for processing.  You will receive a confirmation once the benefit has been applied to your booking.

Sincerely,

Princess Cruises

Unfortunately, this no longer works. Princess has taken one of the few things that worked very well and broke it.

After receiving the previous email saying they were processing my request, I just received a new email saying they weren't.

Email from Benefit, Shareholder (PCL) <sbpcl@princesscruises.com> at 5:41 am on Tuesday November 28:

--------------------------------------------------------

Good day,

Thank you for your request for an onboard credit as part of the Carnival Corp & plc. Shareholder Benefit Program.

Carnival Corp is implementing a more automated onboard credit request process in partnership with Stockperks.

Please go to www.stockperks.com/carnivalcorp for all details about the program and how to apply for your onboard credit via the Stockperks app.

Thank you for being a CCL shareholder!  We look forward to welcoming you aboard.

Kind regards,

Russel R.

-------------------------------------------------------

I just submitted my request using StockPerks, and it was rejected with the following response: "Onboard Credit requests cannot be submitted for cruise dates after July 31, 2024. Please submit your claim for an earlier cruise date. If your cruise is after July 31, 2024, please check back in May 2024 to submit your claim."

This is a major change from Princess. Not only is the app a much more difficult process than an email and a process with real privacy concerns, but they have taken away the ability to use onboard credit to book shore excursions in advance. By the time I can submit my request using the app, some shore excursions will sell out and others will go up in price.

Why does Princes take one of the few things they were handling very well and break it?

I just saw there is another thread on this issue. I responded to this question because it seemed fairly straightforward. I didn't realize that Princess had completely broken one of the few things that they had done well in the past.

Go to post #119 in this thread where I posted a step-by-step process to manually submit your brokerage statement without having to log into your brokerage account. BTW the only information you need to supply when creating your StockPerks account is your name and email address. All of the other personal information requested is optional.

I believe the email to submit to Stockperks via email is hello@stockperks.com. However, the option to upload your statement on the app works well. You select the Alinea option and go from there.

As I have stated earlier the email address given above for submitting is for those having issues with the app.

Otherwise the email address is for general inquiries.

I was frustrated trying to use the app so 2 days ago I sent an email to that address and yesterday they advised me that it had been submitted to Princess...today I was approved!! That was quick and easy. 😄

All please beware of StockPerks and their hideous and unethical business practices. If you do not link your brokerage account or provide the entire brokerage statement they will try to harass you. They want people to desperately just provide them with their personal and financial information.

StockPerks is a data mining company that makes money by feeding off data and personally identifiable information of others and selling them to marketing companies. I am also not aware how they may use/missure financial information. They do not even have a customer service number to call them. They will also send you emails from generic or anonymous email IDs.

I understand we all want to get our OBC's but be careful. I sent them redacted statements with very little to none personal and financial information and they are giving me a hard time. Beware this is not a company that you want to share your information with.

Please reach out to your brokerage firm and request for a letter verifying you holding of the only the selected cruise line stocks. Every brokerage firm will provide you this. It will list out the number of shared you hold of the said company and the date of confirmation (which is usually end of the previous day). Once you get this letter, redact your address and brokerage account number and then send it to StockPerks. DO NOT SEND YOUR ENTIRE BROKERAGE STATEMENT NO MATTER WHAT YOU REDACT. Based on their desperation of getting the entire statement I am concerned that may have a way to scrub to remove redactions and access other information you do not want them to have.

Additionally, I got the clarification that StockPerks is falsely advertising that Royal Caribbean and Norwegian are also using them. As of now it is ONLY CARNIVAL that is using StockPerks to cut costs and reduce their in-house employees that are dedicated to processing these requests. Shame on Carnival for the lack of proper information and falsely sending out emails recommending to their shareholders that it is "recommended" that they link their brokerage accounts to StockPerks when it is not at all needed.

Can confirm I just got the redirect to stockperks after I sent the normal email to sbpcl@princesscruises.com.  I downloaded the app and created my account and sent in a one page redacted statement of just my physical stocks using the Fidelity option and they say they will get back to me within two days.  Also seems they are only allowing cruises through July 2024 to be done at this time, which is funny as I have my July 2025 cruise already applied after using the old email process.  I will have to deal with this next year sometime for my newly booked November 2024 cruise it seems.

What has happened had happened but my advice is that you should NOT share your brokerage statement no matter how redacted it is. Just get a letter confirming your Carnival Stock holding from your brokerage firm, redact and upload.

All they have from me is one page that was redacted using my PDF Expert program saved to a pdf file.  If they dont like it I will go the route you stated, but as far as I know there is no way to unredact what I sent.  I guess time will tell.
