Good morning.  Thanks for the Report.

We had snow overnight, and a lot of wind.  Things look very pretty this morning, I hope we don't have to get the snowblower out but we'll have to shovel.

I saw some pictures of the volcanic activity in Iceland - WOW  lots of lava.  Beautiful and scary.

A good collection of days.  I like hard candy, we should celebrate heroes and heroines that have helped our society, evergreens are easy to see here, there are some in my yard.

Amusing quote.

The meal sounds good, looking forward to seeing the recipes.  The drink sounds tasty, I hope the wine is too.

We haven't been to today's port, yet, maybe someday soon.

Prayers for everyone on the Care List.  Cheers for all the celebrations.

Have a good day.  Stay safe.

This is the last time I will post the Daily for a while, although I have set it for @kazu to post it while I am gone. It looks like we will need another volunteer for the period from April 22nd to May 9th as I have extended my cruise to end up in Montreal (along with @kazu and then spend some time with friends in Canada.

Good morning dailyites and thank you for the Daily Report.

Cloudy morning here on the NS, cruising around rain bands.

Dinner was much better last night as it was warm. 😀

I had the beef tenderloin and fish, Suzi had shrimp with her filet.

Beef was good and Suzi said her shrimp was very good.

I gave a little back to the casino.   😞  I'm playing with there money now, so no complaints.

Suzi wants to go shopping, so if we stop at Gran Turk, we will be getting off the ship today. 🚢

I hope everyone has a wonderful day and I will check in later.

Good early Tuesday Morning everyone!  National Heroes/Heroines are so different and better than popular ones, do love hard candy (but not butterscotch ones), and we do have some evergreens here so I do have to look for them.  Phyllis wit - one for the books.  The meal sounds delicious, the drink not so much, wine - we will see, and never been to the port.  Wow, BBC!

So glad yesterday is over.  Not sure why I get so nervous but the injection was not bad.  So far, no improvement but that is expected.  Now it s a waiting game.  It is a nice start to the day at 54F on the way up to high 70s.  Predicting rain for F and Sa but I won't be here.  I will be on a BHB for my 10th cruise.  Very excited.

On the agenda today is a lite workout - more for girl talk!!  Then hopefully to get my hair trim and the final packing of stuff.  My flight is early, early Thursday morning and I will leave my car at the airport.

Thoughts for those who need hugs and cheers to those celebrating.  Christmas is just around the corner.

Have a great day everyone!!

Good morning friends!  A cold 29F outside right now.  The high winds from last night are gone.  Today we will only reach 46 but will enjoy sunny skies.  Thank you Rich @richwmn for the Fleet Report and Daily for Tuesday Dec. 19.

Just for fun today let's celebrate hard candy, heroes and heroines, and evergreen searches.  They have nothing in common but give us something to think about.  I miss Phyllis Diller because she had the funniest outlook and quite a cackle.  The roast pork sounds pretty good but I will skip the Effen Green Apple cooler and whatever the wine is.  It was an exciting day in 1932 when the BBC began transmitting overseas so good for them.  Thanks to our girls Debbie @dfish, Dixie @summer slope, and Ann @cat shepard for their reports today.  Thinking of Dixie as she goes through an MRI this morning.

Prayers for our Daily Care list people and for anyone here needing them.  Also for the people of Israel and Ukraine, the return of the hostages remaining, the U.S. troops under fire, and my DB and friends in need of them. 🙏 Cheers to those sailing and everyone celebrating happy events such as birthdays and anniversaries. 🥂🎉  Bon Voyage to @St Pete Cruiser!  Thanks to Vanessa @JazzyV for the hard work of reading and noting all changes that take place, while suffering leg pain and lack of sleep.  You are the best!

The port of the day is Souda-Chania, Crete, Greece.  Another day of rest for me since I don't have photos to post of our port.  We had this port once before on June 20, 2022 and I'll post the link to that date for you below.

Have a super day today folks!  Hoping you remain safe and well.  If you're traveling, be extra careful.

Thanks for the Fleet Update and General Info from all contributors.

It’s time for Chapter 2 of my 14 day cruise adventure 12/3-12/17, aboard the beautiful and elegant Cel..Refle..

Chapter 2: Don’t Mess with the Misses.

It was Day 3 of our cruise when the Misses had an unusual occurrence. She had just stepped onto the Elevator on Deck 4 to go to the Oceanview Cafe on Deck 14. There were four elderly couples already in the elevator. The doors closed and the elevator started up but then stopped at Deck 5. Another couple stepped in, a very large man about 6’-5” tall, 250 lbs and a small woman, 5’-0”, 115 lbs. Immediately upon the doors closing, the man and woman began kissing, making out. The four elderly couples were a bit embarrassed so they turned their heads. The Misses was not. This is what happened next.

The Misses looked at the couple and stated, “Get a Room!”, in a loud voice. The large man turned his head and said, “Jealous?”  For which the Misses replied, “Yes I am and once the doors open I am going to run out of here to my husband RedneckBob”.  Well, the four elderly couples began clapping and laughing and when the doors opened at the next floor, the kissing couples quickly walked out, probably not their intended floor. So there you have it, Don’t mess with the Misses.

I can help in April but have to travel to Florida for a college graduation in early May and then a week later to get on the Zuiderdam for our May 11 cruise so won't have time to help then.  Jacqui @kazu let me know if you need a sub for other dates.  Rich, have a great trip and enjoy every second of it!

Thank you Rich, Vanessa, Debbie, Ann, and Dixie.  Bon Voyage @St Pete Cruiser  your ship is now waiting for you:

4 great days to celebrate including the one in 1932.  A special salute to our National Heroes and Heroines.

The quote sounds like typical Phyllis Diller.

I have not been to today's port; I did not cruise a lot in the Med.

The meal sounds interesting.  My alternative is Fruit Salad with Yogurt and Honey, Grilled Chicken Breast with Louisiana Style Rice, and Apple Sundae as served on MS Prinsendam December 19, 2013.

A crazy morning with bloodwork for my annual physical followed by a visit to my periodontist.

Roy

thanks for our Tuesday Daily, Rich

& thanks always to Dixie, Debbie, Ann & Vanessa.

Great collection of days!  Hard Candy is a traditional holiday treat for many.  there are many heroes and heroines out there who deserve celebrating.  I don’t have to look for evergreens - I have plenty in the back.  Hopefully they are all standing when it’s light enough to see 🤞

Phyllis Diller was always a hoot.  I always laugh at her quotes.  Meal sounds good & the drink of the day sounds tempting on a summer’s day.  I’ll wait for the wine.  We’ve been to Crete but not the port of the day.

Quite the storm (still going but no gale force winds now thankfully) yesterday and last night.  Around 106,000 homes in New Brunswick without power.  N.B. doesn’t have a big populations so that’s big - 3 times the outages from last week’s storm.  I hope everyone in the storm’s path is safe and dry 🙏

Today I have the fun job of loading the front porch with 20+ boxes and a few bags that are being given away to be picked up tomorrow.  Need to wrap a few more odds and sods and I think I’m done 👍. Not sure what the rest of the day holds.  Ivan and I will sort it out later.

Prayers for those on the Care list, those suffering losses, health problems, pain, worries and those that need them 🙏 Cheers to those celebrating and cruising 🥂

Another item that is much better than our last cruise is our suite.

Perfect temperature in the cabin and the shower is very similar to the same one we had in the PS on this ship in March. Great temperature control and wonderful water pressure.  😀

Both of the concierges are absolute gems.

Interesting collection of days, Ms Diller was funny but I'll skip her quote, the meal sounds good, maybe on the drink and wine, not been to the port, important day in history.

Work, work, PT, laundry, packing and work today. And printing luggage tags.

Currently chilly 39° headed to 61° with 68° on Travel Thursday.

Prayers and positive thoughts for all.

Thank you for today’s FR & D, Rich! Another sunny morning. Though a bit nippier than the past few days it is 44 with a breeze that makes it feel like 42. Bindi did not dawdle on our morning walk.

IMG_2151.jpeg.197af2561b7dea4e7aacf9598b6632d3.jpeg

Vanessa praying that the neurosurgeon knows how to help relieve your pain. Thank you for all you do for us!

Gym, Bindi walks, chores, need to start packing Bindi’s bag for her trip to Paradise, and organizing my stuff. It does not appear I will run in to any precipitation while I am up there. A bit sad that there won’t be a white Christmas, but at least I won’t have to deal it while traveling.

Prayers for all who need our support. Especially those suffering from debilitating pain and conditions, and those grieving the loss of a loved one. Terry, thinking of you & Tana.

Cheers to all who are celebrating!

May we each find a reason to smile today!

7 Settevigne Italia 2019

This is a unique red blend composed of equal parts of seven varietals! I used the 2019 vintage, since it is ready to drink. It has lots of consumer fans who believe it is an excellent choice. A decent number of distributors with online prices starting at $16.99.

Distributor notes

Varietals: equal parts Sangiovese,Montepulciano, Barbera,Primitivo,Nebbiolo, Aglianico, and Corvina

Alcohol/vol14%

Sette Vigne has a lovely and intense ruby-red color with a powerful bouquet reminiscent of red cherries, dried fruit, chocolate, coffee beans and prunes. On the palate it is full-bodied, soft and round, with a pleasant hint of spiciness and an amazingly long and lingering finish. A perfect accompaniment to red meats, game and strong cheeses.

Rich - the cruise starts April 21st not the 22nd 😉  Glad you are staying on board and joining us 🙂   I’m hoping for coverage on the 19th but if not, I’ll fake it.

Super Sandi - that’s a huge help.

Is there any way you could start on the 19th of April? I fly out that day and it would just save me one last minute thing to do.

I will be able to do the Daily again on May 5th.  If May is not do-able for you, I can fake it on the ship (internet permitting which is the worrisome part) if need be.  Just let me know what dates you can do and I’ll take it from there.

thanks 🙂
