Hi Kfrey,

 

As Captain Pagonis is new to Reflection (as is everyone else !) my guess is, he will return to Reflection after his vacation. Hopefully, member Xellent - who is current onboard, will confirm.

 

Sad to say but he will not!!!

 

We have heard "Bye for now" for the last time.

It is the end of an era..

 

Now that we are at the end of the cruise, I can comment that he has announced that he will be making a career change .

 

We will miss him and wish him success in life ashore!

Thats a shame, he is such good captain, he probably got tired of being asked about concordia every cruise!!! He will be missed! :(

Can someone tell me who the Captain is that concludes his messages with "out," or sometimes "Greek and out." My wife and I sailed with him on the Solstice and thought he was great. Is he still sailing?

 

Yes just sailed with him on the silhouette in November. It is captain demitrios kafzetis

Thank you for the information. He's the only Captain that I would eagerly await his announcements, in fact I thought he was funnier than some of the entertainment on board. Despite being entertaining, he was also very professional and I felt like we were in very capable hands.

A very memorable captain, indeed. At noon, all passengers would shut up to actually listen to his announcements. His lecture on "navigation" was sold out - meaning the theater was standing room only.

I'm so sorry to hear he's leaving. Captain Pagonis will be missed by our Family. I wish him all the very best of success in his future endeavors !

Oh how sad, hope it wasn't because of all the criticism about the Reflection and the lack of communications with passengers that has ended his career with Celebrity

 

I wish him well and will miss our favorite Celebrity Captain.

Love Capt. Kafzetis! He was our 'first' and is still, by far, our favorite!

Can anyone tell us who's on Eclipse right now? Captain? CD? We heard Sue Denning might be the CD and that Perry Grant would be on Eclipse. Does anyone have any info on that?

 

We leave on 3/9 and we're just curious.

 

We've sailed with both Captains above mentioned and loved them. They were so accessible and everywhere on the ships.
