thetexasaggiecruiser Posted August 31, 2014 #201 Share Posted August 31, 2014 I know you will be so glad to be home. Even though it wasn't the vacation you had planned, it's clear you handled the situation with excellence and made the best of the situation. I hope to read the thread on your next "Live From" where you lift a glass to this adventure. And like others, thank you for posting the details and choices, as we all can benefit. It must have been really tough to put a good face on the situation, but you nailed it. Hope Jim continues to recover and there are no long-term issues. Cruzin Terri Posted September 1, 2014 Author #205 Share Posted September 1, 2014 We're home. Finally! The drive was uneventful. I have been unpacking all day. Jim napped and I am exhausted. I finished my luggage and tomorrow I will tackle his. Tomorrow I will tackle his. Thank you all again for all your well wishes and prayers. Tuesday we will get the stitches out and will try to get an appointment at the Mayo Clinic for a follow-up to find out what really happened here. hpf Posted September 1, 2014 #216 Share Posted September 1, 2014 Terri the unpacking can wait, you now need your rest so you will have the strength to finish up with Dr. appointments etc. I just hope if I am ever in your situation that I will be able to deal with it even half as good as you. Continued recovery for Jim as well, our prayers are still with you. Helen
