We hope so too!  We enjoyed talking with you and Jack at dinner time. 🙂

Joy, every evening your and Andy's chats at our MDR table pre and post dinner were total enjoyment.  Glad your leg is better.  Hopefully your covid is as mild as mine was in July.

Wishing all who have covid an easy time.

Maryann, hope your, Carol's and husbands covid tests are negative.  Please tell Carol I said hi.

I overdid the walking, standing (think Schooner's) on the cruise and now I'm paying for it but if I had to do it all over again, I would!

We're mulling Bella 2 and will make a decision later day.

If we book, we won't be on deck 8 since we'll book a CP balcony but we might crash the deck 8 party anyway!

Very weird but the elevator situation on Adventure in February was worse than on Oasis. Wait on O was not as long.  Doesn't matter what deck we're on since I have to use elevators. I CAN walk up and down one flight, but it would be slow going.

…Recently, I have gone to a Neurologist as I was diagnosed withSpinal  Stenosis about 20 years ago and I think the issue is becoming worse.

I have had an MRI and lab tests. The EMG has been scheduled as well as a follow up appt with the Dr. which will be in April. I can commiserate about the tests involved in a neurology exam and waiting patiently for test results.…

Hoping every works out for the best.

Speaking of not being a "scaredy cat"....this event was surely not for the squeamish. Glad to (still) be here typing this...

I had friends on that sailing... some were airlifted, some stayed aboard.  All continued cruising afterward!

some were airlifted,

That was us....along with 400+ others. Glad to hear your friends did not give up on cruising. We got back out on the water the following October.

Did your friends go on the Invitational cruise this past May?

The post should read-a lung transplant.

I should have read more posts before I googled longboard transplant human body. The first thing that comes up is this. It’s for a head transplant. 😱 That’s creepy.

Oh my, what a picture I have in my head now. And right at lunchtime too!

We are now in Ft Myer where it will be about 90 later staying at a cool hotel Luminary has a beautiful roof top bar with great river view . Summit had a unplanned stop in Santo Domingo yesterday , at 2am yesterday morning someone had a very nasty fall there is a large staircase between 4th and 3 rd floor we were told there was blood everywhere, they closed the bars and casino and told everyone to return to there cabins , we we’re asleep at the time but someone we know was gambling, she asked if she could help but the medical crew got there fast ( she was a nurse in Air Force for 30 years) . They closed this staircase for last two days of the cruise.

We seem to see same people in suite restaurant year after year , we received a nice pin since this was our fifth rock and romance. We were talking to someone in penthouse and they said they had to skip next year to go to there sons wedding in Ireland, a couple of days later they booked same penthouse for next year’s cruise. Randy Backman and Dave Mason are two of next year’s musicians.

So sorry for that passenger and family.
We are currently on the Jewel of the Seas. Last night at 3 am there was a helicopter evac near San Juan. We were on our way to Coco Cay with one sea day between, from St Croix. Ship turned around to meet the CG near PR. Today is a sea day, but the little baby Jewel is doing almost 23 knots to make it to Coco Cay tomorrow by 11 am…..so rocking and rolling like crazy. I would have been OK with skipping Coco and getting a sea day and the Captain not flying the ship the ship, but the other passengers who are looking forward to Coco Cay would not be. I am hoping the evacuated person is doing OK. Prayers.

Omg, just saw its speed at 23.5 on the info on tv. Did not know that this rubber ducky could even go beyond 20. The ship is in great condition, clean, no problems, service is excellent. Food is good. I like the new menu. We have an aft balcony on deck 8 and I love it. It is a 4D not a suite. Am OK with the one time daily house keeping. Chose morning and requested extra towels, ice and paper compass. All good with these new changes.

Thanks for all of the Happy Birthday wishes 😊

Looks like RC wanted to make it a special day for me too.  Today they sent out a notice that they are dropping the pre-cruise testing for the Hawaii to Vancouver cruise in May!
