Royal Caribbean Cruisers -- How Are Things Where You Are? (was "Routine" 😁 day in lockdown... how was yours?)

I love accents. Love trying to figure out where people are from based on how they speak. Funny to me how so many Americans mistake Aussie accents for English accents and vice versa. I can differentiate the two quite easily but many apparently cannot! Also interesting how many accents UK has for its size as opposed to Australia which is close in size geographically to the US.

What amazes me is that these folks with accents mostly all sound American when they sing. How does that happen?

I’ve only watched the first series. I saw that part of the cliff that features in the background of many scenes, collapsed onto the beach recently.

Need to watch the 2nd & 3rd series.  Too many shows not enough time.

Thank you, I didn't know about the cliff collapse. It's a shame because I felt so much of the show was centered around those cliffs. I did find a few videos online & apparently these collapses are not uncommon.

Season 1 was the best season, the others were pretty good as well but didn't quite leave up to my lofty expectations set Season 1. Then again, I watch the last 2 over a weekend just before the show left Netflix so perhaps it was too much viewing in too little time.

I did a search and the show is currently available for purchase on Amazon Prime, at least in the USA.

Your favorite spot  in back of the Windjammer on deck 11 has hardly been used on our Greenland cruise. You would have no trouble finding  table. 😉

Beautiful photos @Jimbo.  Definitely would be too cold for the WJ patio on your sailing.  The colors in your iceberg and sunset photos are gorgeous.

@sgmn  I think tonight and tomorrow are going to be a bit rocky.  Should sleep like babies.

Happy Anniversary!!

We are hoping our flight from Boston to Philly goes as planned.  I have to be back at work Monday morning.

Do you want to meet somewhere tomorrow?  Maybe diamond lounge in the morning?

Did our normal martini lunch at our favorite restaurant (they are 4 dollars each) we also was there Wednesday night , on Wednesday we always start at the bar before going to my favorite table , there was two seat open at the end and within a minute of us sitting before ordering a drink the bartender served us our drinks a woman sitting next to us said I guess you been here before 😁😁, during lunch bartender knows to just keep my dirty vodka martinis coming .

@sgmn. Did you hear about the medical emergency yesterday on CocoCay?  A woman was evacuated by a sea plane near the jet ski area near Chill Island.

I saw the plane and said to Eric that must be an expensive excursion.  I had no idea it was a medical evacuation.

I was at Labadee once when they landed a helicopter for a med evac. No idea where they took the patient. A Hatian hospital would not be too appealing to me.

I don't think they do. We had one too. (A medical evacuation) My thought was over to the Dominican Republic, which is right next-door to Haiti.

@Sea Dog  A photographer , who lives in the next town over , that I follow on 😟📖 had knee replacement surgery and posted photos post surgery of his leg.  I don’t know if he was ever told not to leave the ice machine on his leg for long periods of time . He had the scariest looking blisters filled with blood in the knee area.  Really , really ugly and huge . He should have given a warning first about the pics .  Moral is don’t fall asleep with ice machine on your leg.

My surgeon says 20 minutes on 20 minutes off. I do the ice machine during the day but not at night. At night I have to sleep on my back which is hard because I am a side sleeper and I have to keep my leg straight and elevated. Needless to say I don’t sleep well for the first 6 weeks.
