After getting cats I discovered I was allergic to cats , my wife said I need to get allergy shots , luckily I outgrew my allergies after a while .

I've never before this cruise complained about my cabin being too hot. This is the first time last night I sure wanted a fan blowing air on me. Maybe I'm just aging but I did allure last sept, so not that long ago. I've been too hot all week.

But lots to like on harmony. Loved Columbus and just rode up in the elevator with the piano player in the elevator. I got pictures of him I think was yesterday thru the glass but rose up with him this time after the show. I was on top of him so it's hard to tell here hes playing piano in the elevator. I have some better pictures.

And that D+ cheers with a officer the fillet mignon was to die for. I need to write to my friends who board dec 10 with dave, tree skier. She will be happy they do a stir fry and pasta during lunch in the egg stations. She has been wanting that and allure didnt have it. 3 kinds of ice cream in the back every lunch making another friend happy. Lots of very good things.

I got some pictures from outside but maybe you can see hes playing piano in the elevator.

@ReneeFLL did you end up getting the heated cat bed for Chloe?

Not yet. I decided to see if it goes on sale for Black Friday, but I do still plan on getting it.

The day after I posted this a $20.00 off coupon came in from Chewy. They had them on sale and with the coupon I ended up paying $47.00. I picked this one since the hood zips off in case Chloe doesn’t like it.

When we put on either a taped show or a live show and then go to the  Library, Home or Live page while watching the show. Then going back to the show, that library, Home, Live screen over lays the show we are watching.

So my question is how do we lose that screen and go back to the show we are watching with out it backing out of everything and losing what we were watching?

You'll see the name of the show that is playing (live or taped) at top of the screen.  Press the UP button until it's highlighted and then press the OK (or SELECT) button...I don't know what remote you're using.  On the Apple TV remote it's UP and then the center (OK) button.

That's a very nice looking cat bed!  I hope Chloe likes it.

It's the humidity.  Today might be my last excursion in the Caribbean.  I'm just getting to where the heat and humidity is too too much. And add drinking. I'm not much. I had this chocolate margarita at the chocolate place followed by tequila tasting. Puts me to sleep when I drink. Next week I'm staying on and doing pay restaurants next 2 weeks. 97 and rain and high humidity.  I'm out of shape.

Everyone was worried out of Texas is it warm enough to swim. Plus last dec it froze the trees on allure. I'm packed wrong. Well columbus isnabout the start I heard was the best show here on harmony. Bring on the dancing cheeseburgers.

Have a great cruise(s) Jane.

Are you moving to Florida soon?

I did make the rug.  My mother made the little tree.

How do I start to even learn to crochet? Where do I begin?

Your stuff is so beautiful. Congratulations to the kitties on graduating to their new homes. May they all stay very happy. They are so darling!☺️

Adding to this...you won't see the currently playing show name at the top of the screen until you get there.  Normally, Library/Home/Live will be at the top.  Go up to where it says Library/Home/Live to see it, and then go up once more.  It's a little strange.

Another thing that we find useful is the ability to create a custom sort order for the Live grid.  Since there are no channel numbers, you can rearrange the order of channels any way you want, and hide channels that you'll never watch.  I find it much easier to do this on a computer (tv.youtube.com) than on a TV.  Note that the custom sort order applies to all devices using that account.  You can't have one sort order in the living room and a different one in the bedroom.  We figured that out when my daughter created what she thought was her own custom sort.  We couldn't figure out why ours had changed.

The tree skirt is a latch hook kit.

If you want to learn to crochet.  Look for a local yarn shop.  A lot have beginner classes.  If that isn't an option you tube is your friend.  For any stitches I don't know knit or crochet there is a video for it.   There is also a website Ravelry dot com that has patterns, forums etc.  You might find someone close to you that would help.  Many of the big box stores will have beginning supplies.  Knitting and crochet are based on a couple of stitches and once you know those you can build your skills.  Wash clothes are  good starting project.  Then scarfs.  Any questions just ask.  I am happy to help.

I'm back in Florida, recuperating from helping my daughter move into her house.  I'm too old for that...stuff.  At my age, I'm supposed to write checks, not climb ladders and carry washing machines into a basement on a dolly.  I also like being back where the temps are in the 70s, at least for a few days.  Micheline decided to stay there and do more work.  We didn't get the kitchen painted and there is still more cleaning to do.  Not sure when she'll decide that she's done enough for now and give up.  Momma wants her baby girl to be happy. 😁

I took a few videos when the living room and bedroom were at their best...before move-in day and the explosion of boxes everywhere.  It's amazing what Scott's Liquid Gold Floor Restore can do to a  hardwood floor.

If it is December, it is time for You know who to show up.

That’s right, that pesky elf.

I can tell you that it has not been hot enough for lava.

I don’t know what substance the elf had to think that!

Go it, using a Samsung TV Remote. Worked the same as you described. Thanks!

Another option is to check out your local library, a number of them have either classes or open session times where more experienced are there to help newbies.  My mom taught me crochet and have done a number of things through the years, I find it very relaxing.  Tried knitting but I never really took to it, have enough other stuff to keep me occupied.  Latest is crazy quilting and folded fabric ornaments, waiting on some ribbon, will share once done.

Last night, Andi and I were sitting at the dinner table and heard some meowing.  Not super unusual, since there are a few feral cats around the neighborhood.  Andi went to the back door and sitting at the dog door meowing was Maxx.  Seven weeks later.

What a great story that Maxx found his way home.  It is so stressful when a pet goes missing.
