They still have to put the backer board on the floor.

 

Then they will paint both rooms(1 large open room now), then cabinets will go in.

 

After painting I believe the 2 wood  beams will go up that are spaced on each side of the 2 pendant lights that are over the 10' x 6' island.

 

After all that the brick/ tile work will begin. Tile back splash, brick pavers on fireplace and walls above upper cabinets. Brick pavers on the floor also.

 

All the pavers are only a 1/2" thick, not like outside pavers.

Hope it all goes smoothly!  Any target date for completion?

Uh oh.  Debbie so sorry you got covid with all those symptoms.  Hope you'll be feeling much better very, very soon.  It seems as soon as they come out with a new booster, another covid variant pops up. Hope Eric stays healthy. Jack took the "covid pills" as soon as he tested positive and he thinks it helped keep the symptoms mild.  I didn't take them because of kidney issues and I had very mild symptoms, just a runny nose.  If Jack hadn't tested positive the day before, i wouldn't have tested myself thinking it was TX allergies.

As an accountant, I too am a huge fan of Excel and keeping life organized via spreadsheets. A friend had this made for me for my birthday. The "I" at the beginning of the sentence isn't showing in this pic for some reason.

I have been catnapping on and off.  Good time to catch up on all my recordings on my dvr but I fall asleep everytime I put something on.

Had a nice long steam shower and that really helped with my congestion.

Eric made me some scrambled eggs, toast with cinnamon and tea with honey.  

No loss of taste.

 

I've been taking tylenol every 4 or 5 hrs and I took a Claritin D this morning.  Eric left a bunch of bottled waters and powerade zero outside my door.   

I know he's probably already been exposed to it but I want to keep my distance from him while I still have mild fever.

I'm also thinking about her, but it was a longish cruise (12 days), so may be she's "recuperating"....

Medical on Oasis is so much better than Quantum. I am now in isolation on Oasis for 24 hours. Testing negative for Covid but need another negative tomorrow to be set free. Had a nebulizer treatment and  Covid test and left with a few medications all in less than an hour. Have already heard from guest services. Never got the promised call on Quantum. Free room service, free bottled water and free pay per view movies. Guess I won’t make our Cats reservation this afternoon.
