faithful Posted September 2, 2020 #5 Share Posted September 2, 2020 Yes, we do! November 3. We spoke to our travel agent yesterday and the cruise hasn’t been canceled so far. Let’s keep each other informed with these plans.
bethco Posted September 2, 2020 #6 Share Posted September 2, 2020 Booked on 4 night Navigator Nov 2. Booked it the day of the $18 drink package in July 19.
ipeeinthepool Posted September 2, 2020 #7 Share Posted September 2, 2020 Not me. It's not going to happen from the US. I had a refundable deposit so I cancelled when we approached final payment. If you have a non-refundable deposit and you want a refund, you need to make final payment and wait for Royal to cancel. Hopefully they'll still have funds to make your refund. Good Luck
Wine-O Posted September 2, 2020 #8 Share Posted September 2, 2020 We are booked on a January Caribbean B2B on Explorer, and I don't think they will go. We've been crossing our fingers and toes for a Sep and Nov TA, but both were cancelled. Since Lift & Shift ends on 30 September, we L&S the two sailings to January 2022. 🍷

Sent from my iPhone using Forums I am!!! I mean, I'm not sailing until Jan 2021 (most likely moved to Jan 2022) but I'm interested to hear reviews about all the restrictions onboard and how they are handled/welcomed. Fingers and toes crossed you sail!! But if you don't, will you be taking the refund or 125% FCC?

It's just hard to see a majority of sailings happening this January. Even if so, it's not an experience we want. Waiting until things are somewhat back to normal without the myriad of restrictions that will be onboard, for who knows how long......
John Reid Posted September 2, 2020 #19 Share Posted September 2, 2020 November 9 Grandeur Caribbean 11 night. I don't think there is any chance of it sailing at all. The indications were 3 and 4 nighters at first. There's nothing sailing before 10/31. The math tells me a refund is coming.

I suspect that what you are seeing there will reflect very closely what will be expected when the US opens to cruising again.
mets123 Posted September 2, 2020 #21 Share Posted September 2, 2020 I was until two days ago. I did a lift and switch because I didn't want to pay and wait for the cancellation. They actually let me switch from an eight night to a seven.
torpeedo Posted September 2, 2020 #22 Share Posted September 2, 2020 We were too but L&S to Nov next year, same ship, same port, same duration. Next anticipated potential cancellation is Jan 23..ugh! That will be cruise #6 cancelled. I'm hopefully it goes but who knows.
renieg813 Posted September 2, 2020 #23 Share Posted September 2, 2020 November 2nd, 4 day Mariner out of Port Canaveral. It was supposed to be a b2b but the 10/30 3 day was canceled. I’m hopeful because it goes to CocoCay twice with Nassau in between. I’ve had 15 cruises canceled so far😕
ZoeyVictoria Posted September 2, 2020 #24 Share Posted September 2, 2020 I have the Harmony booked for November 8. I’ve had nine cruises cancelled already and strongly suspect this be will the 10th, but I am still hoping to go. It is a casino comp, so I can’t L&S and a refund would be only $239, so I will really hate to lose it. Still, that is what I expect.
bigrednole Posted September 2, 2020 #25 Share Posted September 2, 2020 I was over Thanksgiving until I changed it to Easter. Too many issue to go on a cruise that are not answered. Specifically, if anyone gets covid on the ship, will it be permitted to return to a US port? If someone has covid on the ship, are all passengers required to be quarantined by the US government at some facility for 14 days?
