Little known RCCL perk

Recommended Posts

I was reading earlier this evening and found that every passenger on board an RCCL ship above the age of 18 years old automatically has between $2.00 to 100.00 dollars imbedded on their Sail Pass Card for the slot machines in the Casino.  This must be used during the first two days of the cruise.  I had never heard or read this before and found it interesting.  Just wondered if anyone else knew of this perk.

Oh yes! Last cruise my husband and I each had $8 on our cards

  FYI Casino math:  $8x2= $16= into slot machine x 10 minutes= $0!!!  LOL!!!

I got $6. Friends of mine he said he got $8 and hit over $100. He stopped when he was still up $90.

Last night, have to move about 4 doors down the hall next 2 legs. No idea why he got $8 and I got $6, but $6 is what it says for diamond plus. Maybe he was wrong.

We also received $8 each.  Perhaps D+ at 350 level.

Similar Perk going on for over 22yrs that I'm aware. First made Diamond in the 90's they'd give you a Roll of Quarters, one before this Credit on Card Perk was for Free Spins on a single Machine. That said I enjoyed the New one, using only their $ ended up with over $300 on my B4B, played for hrs and just for First Cruise earned over 100 Points. Not a lot but this all on a Penny Slot.

Thank you for bringing this up.  On the Adventure in August, we tried to use these credits on Day 2 and were told that this was a benefit only good on day 1.  We have since been on the Freedom, Brilliance, and then the Adventure again, making sure to use the credits on day 1, just in case:)  We don't evere remember having a limitation on when the credits can be used, so I really appreciate the experience/recollection of othere!

I think I’m missing something …. This $8 or whatever amount embedded on my S&S Card … how will I see the amount of this gift?  I’m Diamond if it makes a difference & not at all a big gambler.

Thanks,

🛳🛳

Is this for slots only?  Is it different than the C&A benefits for Diamond etc?  Interesting.

Yes, it is for slots only.

It is a somewhat random amount, which they advertise in the Cruise Compass as "up to $100!!!!!"  (ha!)

You put your card in the card slot of a slot machine.  Then you input your birthday (month and day) and go through the steps to find and download your promo cash. (casino cashier can give you a little piece of paper explaining it)

Random amounts for me.  From $2 to $8.  B2B it can change, not sure why,

It is for every cruise, so for each leg of the back to back you  get another set of promotions

Two dollars (Rarely but possibly more)  is the casino promotion that everyone gets on  the first 2 days and six dollars for crown and anchor members

if you don’t claim your promotion by the second day, you will only see six dollars.

Are you sure?

last cruise I used the credit on day four.

The casino promotion of two dollars (or possibly more) must be used on the first two days.

If you are eligible for a crown and anchor promotion  of six dollars, you can use that throughout the cruise.
