Good Morning, thanks for today’s daily fleet report.  Today is an in office day and it promises to be busy.   The meal suggestion sounds interesting and I think I’d like it.  Last night I signed up for our auto clubs travel event.  It’s this Saturday and free.  HAL will have a booth.  I hope everyone has a good day today.

Good morning Dailyites and thank you for the Daily Report.

Rocky day yesterday with FedEx issues getting my new work equipment. The laptop arrived around noon and then the monitors after 5 pm. I have NEO training all day today and part of tomorrow.

I hope everyone here has a wonderful day!

Good morning.  Thanks for the Report.

Love the maps.

It's only -7°C (19°F) this morning.  It's a clear sky and I can see a few stars.  A lovely way to start the day, it's so peaceful.  Bertie and I will go for a walk when the sun comes up, I hope we have a sunny day.

I can celebrate African American coaches day.  Female genital mutilation must be abolished.  But I'm not sure I can celebrate Lame Ducks.

Amusing quote.

The meal sounds good.  I know I like the cocktail.  Hope the wine is good too.

Prayers to everyone on the Care List.  Cheers for all the celebrations.

Have a wonderful day.  Stay safe.

Greetings from beautiful Punta Gorda

Another cool day, 52 right now reaching a high of 70 with sunny skies and breezy

Some strange days as is the quote

I’ll pass on the meal

I have never been a fan of King Charles but I’m hoping he wins his battle with cancer

Have a great day and stay well

Good morning and thanks to Rich, Roy, Vanessa, Ann, Eva & Paul for their dedication.

Love that African American Coaches have a day and we must end female mutilation.  I’ll pass on lame duck.  LOL on the today’s quote.  The meal sounds tempting.

Freezing rain warning this morning ‘sigh’.  So tired of snow and ice.  it seems to be one or the other.  OK groundhog - where is the spring you promised us?

I shouldn’t grumble I guess.  Poor people in Cape Breton and other parts of Nova Scotia.  Look at the mess they are dealing with:

Blue bubble is not coming up this morning.  Poor seagarsmoker - you really had a rough start to your first day at work!

Prayers for those on the Care list, those suffering losses, grief, pain, health problems, worries and those that need them 🙏. Cheers to those celebrating and cruising 🥂

Good morning friends!  It is 34F and clear this morning.  It should be a nice day with sunny skies and a high of about 60.  If the wind is light it should be a beautiful day.

An early Daily today.  Thank you Jacqui @kazu and Roy @rafinmd for posting the Fleet Report and Daily as well as the fleet location maps.  I support African American coaches, zero tolerance day and don't really care about lame duck day.  Love the Cathy Guisewite quote!  I suppose the sweet potato stew would pass muster here, and I would try the margarita but don't drink red wine.  Two good days in history and it's nice to see Queen Elizabeth II mentioned especially since we had such bad news for the monarchy yesterday.  Prayers for King Charles!  Thank you Eva @superoma, Paul @kochleffel and Ann @cat shepard for your food and beverage reports!

Prayers started while still in bed and finished up on the treadmill.  As mentioned above, King Charles needs prayers that he can successfully beat cancer, as well as my friend Scott who had a rough day or two including hallucinations and falling out of bed.  Prayers too for my DB, all our friends here on the Care list and there are quite a few lately.  Also for those in Israel and Ukraine, the hostages held there, and troops in the region in danger's way. 🙏 Hope for better news for all including those in flooded areas on the west coast.  Congrats to everyone celebrating good news and happy events and certainly the cruisers among us.  🚢🥂 Thanks Vanessa @JazzyV for taking care of our lists for us.  Sending good thoughts to you as you try to prepare for floor repairs while suffering from a painful leg and little sleep.❤️

The port today is Manila, Philippines.  This was the port before on June 16, 2021, Dec. 13, 2022 and Aug. 3, 2023.  DH and I have not stopped in Manila before but I'm sure Lenda has so I will post her photos for her.  Here are the links to those three prior postings so you can go back and get your photos to share again today.

Hmm.  The same photo showed up on two of our links.  Always a mystery!

RIP Toby Keith.  You will be missed.

Hoping you all have a great day, and don't forget to keep safe, and stay well!

Here are Lenda's @Quartzsite Cruiser's photos for Manila that she previously posted.

We were in Manila on October 31, 2018, on Coral Princess.

As far as Manila itself was concerned, we did a quick drive through of the city, and my pictures out the bus window are not good.

We did a tour that took us out of the city to Taal Lake, with stops along the way.

The view of Manila as we sailed into port.

We were greeted by one of the local bands.

A couple of pictures of the Jeepneys that are the main "public" transportation in the Philippines.   Some have set routes. They were originally made from Jeeps left at the end of WWII, but now they use many different vehicles.

Our next stop was the Jeepney "factory", the term used in the tour description.  I'll let you decide if it's a factory.

And Lenda's @Quartzsite Cruiser's second post.

I'll finish our 2018 tour, and I did find a few of downtown Manila that aren't horrible.

From the Jeepney factory, we went to Taal Lake for a buffet lunch of Filipino food, and a view of the lake and Taal Volcano, which erupted in 2020.

A view of the lake, which is a caldera with a cone inside.  It was very humid so the distance pictures are a little hazy.

Good morning to all and thanks for the daily and fleet report.  Important days to think about, funny quote, I think I will pass on the meal, yes to the drink and wine and I never have been to the Philippines.  Good days in history.

IMG_4169.JPG.859340de011512e909041fe2cb7b86f8.JPG

It looks like we will get the rain around noon and the temps will be a little stagnant.  59F now and only getting to mid 60s.  We do have a wind advisory from 1000 - 2000.  Goes along with our expected rain.  I guess I will just hunker down though I have the gym this morning and PT in the afternoon.

IMG_4168.JPG.3b8874539a52609ed6c7e5918adcfe05.JPG

The study yesterday was interesting.  They used heat as the "pain" which was applied to 4 different small areas on the wrist/forearm.  Then I had to do a memory recall "test" with numbers.  Because my dominant arm "qualified" for the heat application (my non-dominant hand was too heat tolerant) I had to use the non-dom hand to answer the questions.  I got one wrong!!!!!  Only 99.3% right.  &^%^&^%!!!!

IMG_4160.thumb.JPG.7b0967da97bafe55d3f9e64b65482da7.JPG

AGAIN they canceled and re-scheduled my surgeon appt!! So I opted for a tele-health visit on Friday instead of waiting over a month for an in person visit.  So frustrating.  I want to coordinate a plan with him on the path forward.

Just heard about Toby Keith.  RIP.  Thoughts for a successful treatment for King Charles; thoughts for those on the care list.  Cheers for those celebrating.

Have a great day everyone!!

Good afternoon.

It is 46°F and partly cloudy here on the North East coast of England.

Thank you for posting today's topics and HAL fleet reports.

Sad to see no HAL ships in Europe.

I'm a little late today as I was booking another cruise.

Prayers 🙏 for my friends who are unwell.

I hope everyone has a happy stress free day.

Good Tuesday morning. Thanks for the Daily and Fleet reports.

Expecting the sun and a chilly day to day. Learning to live without a stove for a bit until we can get one. Instant pots work wonders for everything. Not likely to starve.

Been looking forward to our cruise in October. My sister and I have found some nice restaurants in Quebec where we will embark on the Norwegian Sky. We are going in two days early. I have seen many videos of Quebec City, and it looks like an awesome place to be.

Today I have a meeting with my marketing person and then it is back to grading assignments from six classes.

Thinking of all on the care list.

Celebrating with all who are celebrating.

Have a safe and healthy day.

Thank you Rich, Jacqui, Vanessa, Ann, Eva, and Paul.

I'll celebrate International Day of Zero Tolerance to Female Genital Mutilation, especially since a member of my church hosted a Kenyan exchange student who established a charity to fight Female Circumcision in his region.  It has now been abolished and has gone on to promote education and health care opportunities for girls, including a school and hospital.  I should probably make a contribution to his charity this week.

I'll also celebrate African American Coaches and a member of my church family is a part of the Ravens coaching staff.

As @grapau27 has pointed out Lame Duck Day is a uniquely American Day worthy of celebration.

Interesting quote by Guisewife.  I have not been to the Phillippines,  Rest in Peace Toby Keith.

Great days in US and British history.  Prayers for King Charles.

I'll pass on the meal.  My alternative is Chilled Peach and Ginger Soup, Fruit Cup au Natural and Veal Cordon Bleu as served on MS Maasdam February 6, 2015.

A cold sunny morning here but I'll wait a bit before starting my errands.

Thank you Jacqui, thank you Debbie, thank you Vanessa, thank you Ann, and thank you Dixie for all your work.  And thank you everyone for being here!

Test drove the model Subaru I intend to purchase yesterday. But the dealer doesn't have the color that Sue wants! We will visit a different dealer today that has two in stock, although it is not my intended dealer. My intention is to wait until closer to the end of the month when they scramble to make their sales quota.

Stay Safe, and prayers for those in need.

Huge days - female genital mutation is barbaric. 😪 Pass on the meal, never been to the port.

More PT - shoulder is really sore today. Next surgeon appt is Valentines Day; hopefully I will get a plan that day.

TV box decided it didn't want to work last night; light comes on but nothing happens. Reset it and still nothing. I didn't have the patience to call for troubleshooting or plug in an Amazon stick so we're using regular OTA channels. That will go on the list and hope to get to it this weekend.

Currently nippy 39° headed to 68° with rain moving back in this weekend.

RIP Toby Keith.

Prayers and positive thoughts for all.

Thank you for today’s FR & D, Jacqui! Roy thank you for all the maps you share with us. I really love the one that shows where our cruisers are.  It is a bit warmer this morning, though it is already windy. When the winds swing around to the Northeast, watch out!

Vanessa, I wish you had hired someone to pack up your belongings. It is tough work even when one is not in pain & has a good night’s sleep to help. Praying that you get permanent relief with your upcoming procedure. Thank you for keeping our lists.

Gym, Bindi walks, more grout work and chores. Do I know how to have fun - or what?

Prayers for all who need our support. Those suffering from pain and debilitating conditions, grieving the loss of a loved one, or in a funk. The caregivers. Terry, praying that Tana’s fever breaks and your “angel” can give you some help.

@Cruzin Terri Terri, once you feel well enough - get out and enjoy your cruise.

Cheers to all who are celebrating!

May we each find a reason to smile today!

Black Box Pinot Noir

Our first Cardboardeaux! You can find it almost anywhere and it is certainly priced to try. Perfect for indoors or outdoors! Online prices start at $18.97. But remember you get a lot more wine in this container.

Distributor notes

This box Pinot Noir from Black Box Wines contains the equivalent of 4 standard sized bottles of wine, and this wine combines two of my favorite things in a wine selection: a delicious wine for a great price. The tasting notes of this wine read like a fairly standard Pinot Noir. The hue is a soft, cheerful red with darker tones glimmering throughout the glass. It has solid legs, and the scent is quite tart and refreshing. The scent preludes the taste, which is quite sharp, yet brilliantly flavored, reminding me of tangy berries. Overall, it is a very refreshing Pinot Noir. lighter than some, almost like a red wine with a dash of Pinot Grigio flavor thrown in. Personally, this is one of my favorite boxed wines.

This Black Box Pinot is one of many delicious boxed wines that are available for amazing prices. If you already enjoy boxed wine, you won’t need me to convince you to try it, but if you’re on the fence about trying boxed wine, either because you’ve been told it isn’t comparable to other wine, or any other reason, give it a go, and I assure you, you will not be disappointed. Don’t go into the experience excepting a top shelf wine, that’s not what boxed wine is for, but if you want a solid, enjoyable wine that you can enjoy in any occasion, without breaking the bank, pick up a box at your local store, and settle in for a refreshing glass of well priced, well made wine.

Good morning everyone.  Thanks for the daily report, recipes and lists.  A salute to all African American coaches.  There should be zero tolerance for female genital mutilation.  I won’t celebrate lame duck day.  Funny quote.  I think I’ll take a pass on the meal selection today but the drink is always a yes for me as long as it’s made with fresh squeezed lime juice and not sour mix.  I haven’t been to today’s port.  Prayers for those on our prayer list.  Cheers to those celebrating happy events today!
