What is your favorite desert on Carnival?

Another vote for Warm Chocolate Melting Cake, I always ordered it with 2 ice creams but I will be changing my order from now on and get the peanut butter and ice cream. My 2nd favorite is Bitter N Blanc but there are many that I really like. I usually save plenty of room for dessert and normally order 2 of them because I can't decide which one I want.

I also agree with that chocolate layer cake from room service - with nice cold milk. The BLT is good and I also like the shrimp salad sandwich. I do that for lunch at least once during each cruise.

They stopped offering the shrimp salad which I thought was one of the best things on the ships. I got a BLT once on white bread, not toasted! Salads are very good from room service, so are cookies and cake.

Toasting the bread of a BLT is really just a personal preference and everywhere Ive ever seen that offers a BLT serves it on white bread unless told otherwise. I do like my bread toasted though for BLT sandwiches :) Its actually what we are having for supper tonight! :)

So far, after 60 posts the clear favorites are # 1 Crème Brule and the # 2 Warm Chocolate MeltingCake but I get the sense the WCMC will vault to the # 1 position once everyone has had a chance to have it with peanut butter!! :D

So those two will definitely be on my dessert list for my next Carnival cruise. But I'm also going to be trying the Grand Marnier Soufflé and the cheesecakes. Thanks everyone!

Now, my next question is can I get any of these desserts with peanut butter :D anywhere on the ship later in the night, after Mrs. Dawg has gone to bed? Mrs. Dawg despises peanut butter. She thinks that the small of it is akin to second hand smoke. What can I say, it’s her only fault. ;)

our favorite is the grand marnier soufflé! it is great,, but I will try the peanut butter and wcmc!

Love the Creme Brulee, Tiramisu, and Grand Marnier souflee in the MDR. Lido favorites are the Key Lime pie and caramel cheesecake. And I HAVE to have at least one slice of the chocolate layer cake and a Black Forest cake from the coffee shop!

Thanks all... .just so you know, my goal in life to eat creme brulee at every restaurant I visit. I better start my diet now so I can do it justice!

On my last cruise I enjoyed the WCMC - this time I will try with ice cream and peanut butter.

Celery for dinner tonight.

I was on Fascination last month. In the MDR, they had a chocolate panna cotta that is a new favorite of mine. It had the texture of a firm chocolate flan with a chocolate milk sauce that was poured on top. It was great.

I love that chocolate melting cake.

I am fortunate enough to have the recipe. Directly form Carnival.Printed on their paper.

Would anyone like to have it?

I think this thread started as older. Just got off Splendor and this was by far the worst Creme Brûlée I’ve ever had. Watery and bland. Soufflé was ok. Not sure if things have gone south in a year or so. There was a mother’s day cake on the lido at lunch, & I’m not kidding, the frosting was salty. I’m almost positive somehow they forgot sugar or something, & this was not the diet option.

My favorites by far were the Strawberry Bisque (it should be a dessert, but is listed as an appetizer), the passion fruit flan & shockingly my favorite was the no sugar added coconut cake (I’m a sucker for coconut, so I figured “why not?”. Both my husband and I think it might have been the best one all week.

What is this Bitter and Blanc thing that everyone is talking about? I have been on 4 cruises so far on 4 different ships and one was 7 days but I never saw this on the menu. I’m curious about what it is!

Also all these desserts sound so delicious! I always just get the warm chocolate melting cake because I don’t want to be stuck with a crummy dessert.... I never get dessert at home or restaurants on land so I don’t want to miss DESSERT!! Could I order one of each if I wanted to try them all? I’ve heard people say you can order multiples but does it apply to dessert also? Lol I’d probably be too embarrassed tho to order multiple desserts! They would think I was quite the glutton! Don't ever hesitate to get 2...try something new and fall back on old standby. no one said you had to eat all of both of them!

Bitter and Blanc is a chocolate and white chocolate bread pudding with cream sauce...do a search and you will see tons of pictures.

I really enjoyed the chocolate melting cake, but the double roasted pineapple is delicious when you want something lighter. I feel like an outlier, but creme brulee is one of my favorite desserts in life and I found it disappointing at best.

Do they do creme brulee? I remember having it for the first time on a cruise but I dont remember which one. That'd be my vote.
