I’ve wanted to visit Bok Tower Gardens since I moved to FL, and today I finally did! https://boktowergardens.org

For those who didn’t follow my Turkey blog, Nate and I are getting a divorce. I have moved into my own place as of this week, and my sister and I decided to get together with our dogs and walk the gardens. She lives in Orlando so it was an hour drive for her and two hour drive for me.

I love that tree.  We may not decorate much this year because Coal is a little active.  Lol

Our 3 cats are fine so far, just using the bottom branches for brushing their backs. No climbers in the bunch as of yet.

Thanks everyone! It's the best for both of us and I am doing great! (with occasional moments of not of course)

Which is more than understandable.  Give Sam a pet from me and hugs to you from our household.

Sorry to hear that you are going through this Crystal.   You know we all would be willing to help you out if needed.  Sounds like you are keeping a positive attitude.

You are lucky you caught it right away.  When Susan had Lyme disease this summer, her aches and pains were so bad, she could hardly get out of bed for a week.  She caught hers pretty early too, but I guess not soon enough.

You will be fine. It is a process and walking the path can be a little rocky but when the walk is finished you will be whole and you will be happy and thrive.

I'm lucky in that I caught it right away. As soon as the tell-tale bulls eye rash appeared - which only happens in 40%-50% of the cases I'm told

Probably closer to 25% and even then the rash can occur where it is not even noticed and it doesn't last very long.

OB nicely said. I was referring to your reply to Crystal!

I didn't think you meant my Lyme rash post.😄

I want you to know that I think about your family every now and then. I hope the horrible path that they have had to walk is becoming more tolerable.

Not sure what, if anything, we’ll do for holiday decorations.  At our previous home we had a stained glass front door so couldn’t put a wreath up…. Once upon a time there I used to frequently have the house on the Christmas Tour so lots of decorations…including a lit tree up in the cupola.  One gets burned out.  Especially as it’s just the two of us.

I’ve considered having someone wrap lights around our palm tree here…or go with Christmas flamingos…

I gave away our big tree. I use a 2 ft, (2-1/2?) pre-lit, and some simple items for coffee table, etc. I do have grandkids over to make and decorate Christmas cutout cookies, cuz memories of my mom are strong and precious. I invite kids, grandkids, to a church candlelight service followed by buffet dinner out. The service is very "kid friendly," and they love holding real lit candles. I try to keep the holiday faith-based; the world they're inheriting is pretty tough.

I noticed a big old spiderweb on the passenger side mirror of the Subaru outback on Friday afternoon.  Meant to brush and spray it on Saturday morning but forgot.
DH unintentionally solved the problem, when reversing into a very tight underground car spot next to a concrete pylon on Sunday lunchtime….5A96B514-B82D-4BE2-B1E4-EDC94210462C.thumb.jpeg.198ffef615b026855e20999493e65dfb.jpeg

Mirror is actually intact and currently in the boot.  Off to the mechanic at lunchtime today….

Temperature dropped about 30 degrees.  Where as yesterday was sunny and 78, today is rainy and 48.  Figured I'd be able to catch up on SeaDogs live review as I'm currently 10 pages behind but then started to watch NetFlix show "Bodies". Very interesting premise & I'm hooked.

I'll set my alarm for an hour earlier tomorrow to catch up on the Live Review. 😀
