Now who on here has never used a jug handle to make a left turn? or knows what a jug handle even is?  and yes this question doesn't involve drinking. 🤣

Gotta go right to make a left.

Honestly, more states should adopt jug handles for left turns.  Especially when you need to cross 3 or 4 lanes of traffic

My mom and sister in NY have never pumped their own gas.  I can't remember when the last time I pumped my own gas was before Dan passed away.  We have NO full serve stations here so I have had to do it myself.  I even considered getting an electric car.😁

Thank you all for the kind words & wishes for Andy.
We get home until almost 1 am this morning, so just over 12 hrs in the ER.  I know there are many medical mysteries, but why on earth does it take so long to “discharge”?!  Once they say that word, you’re ready to go but it’s another hour before anything happens.
Anyhoo, one fractured rib and a broken wrist. He came home with a little breathing thing to make sure he’s taking several deep in/out breaths because of the rib.  They set & splinted the wrist, said they were pleased with the results but follow up in a few days with orthopedic specialist to see if surgery is needed-they think likely. (sorry OB, I never saw the xrays). He’s in a fair amount of pain, mostly the rib and his back is sore from twisting in the fall.
I hope to have time to catch up on what I’ve missed, but Andy is NOT a good patient so wish me luck!
I know I posted a pic of the wrist. This is the after:

Use one almost every day.

And yes, sometimes it can involve drinking

This isn’t far from one of those turn left jug handles.

This is interesting.

It has just been posted on the P&O boards.

Iona is currently doing a summer season of 7 night cruises to the Norwegian Fjords from Southampton.

Me, had to use one every day to get home.  Also got pretty good with circles until they took most of those out.

I always pump my own gas. I don't want any dribbling onto the car's paint. I would not trust any station attendant.

For my Birthday breakfast we went to the Chicken and Egg - they are really expanding and have taken over almost the whole block (main dining room, new dining room on one side, then on other side is a new take out section then at corner is a pizza parlor to open soon.

Then rode our bikes down to Holgate and wandered around a bit, now back home and getting ready for the beach.     Clouds are rolling in - I'm not happy about that as I love my Sunshine😃

They have some Wanna-Be Circles here in Virginia, like I mean these circles are out in the middle of no where. Where just an intersection would be fine for the low amount of traffic there is .🤣  Kind of looks like they are just practice Circles for the VA drivers around here. It's really funny !

I got up at 6 am, did 3 miles walking the street which came out to 7893 steps

Way to go Sue. I just got back from doing 2 miles. Cut it a little short as the heat is already in the high 90's.
