The news was not good, hence my absence for the last couple weeks

I'm so sorry Mark I wish there was something I could adequately say or do for you and your family. Please know that I will keep your daughter and your family in my thoughts and soul during this time. I am here for you anytime. You are doing the right thing by taking care of family first. The cruises can come later. Peace be with you and your family during this difficult time.

The news was not good, hence my absence for the last couple weeks.  I do not think I will have a chance to catch up on the last 70 pages or so.

It has been a stressful couple of weeks, and that will continue for quite a while.  Trying to avoid googling, and rely on what the medical professionals have to say.

After her positive diagnosis, daughter has been to Cleveland Clinic a couple of times, as well as Pittsburgh a couple times in the last two weeks.   She has more appointments this week in Pittsburgh on Monday and Wednesday.  In the meantime, we have been trying to keep things as normal as possible for the grandkids.  It was even tougher, because we still had our California grandson here until he went home last Tuesday.  His school started last Thursday.

In the meantime, we canceled the five cruises we had booked, because we know what lies ahead with treatments, surgery, and recovery.  For us, family is first, and cruising will have to wait.

Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers, because we are all headed down a long road.

I will try to post a little of what we did with the kids to close out our Summer of Fun 2.0, as I get some time.

Healing prayers and positive thoughts for your daughter, as well as for you and your family during this stressful time 🙏🙏🙏

I hope I didn’t miss anyone else’s anniversary, birthday, or good news the last couple weeks, but if I did, I wish you the best too.

@h20skibum I know the stress this brings on the family.   I know down the road all will be well but you have to travel that road🤞🙏

I'm always at a loss of words when a sunny day turns suddenly into a cloudy one... Wishing you strength for the road ahead.

My first album was Pink Floyd's Wish You Were Here.  I won it by calling into a radio station.  A couple of years later I had to pick lyrics from a song to analyze for an English class in high school.  The lyrics to the song Wish You Were Here were perfect for the assignment.

I once called a radio station to answer a question about The Girl From Ipanema.I was the first to call in with the correct answer .My prize was a Peter Tosh album .I never figured out why.

Mark and Susan, I’m so very sorry for what you’re going through.  As you say, “ family first”, and your extended family here understands.  Prayers and healing thoughts for you all.

That sucks...sorry to hear this Mark and Sue.

Stay strong.  We are sending positive thoughts and prayers for you and your family.🙏🦋

Any chance she could join a case study.   Eric's life was saved by agreeing to a case study offered by Penn Medicine.

Prayers for your daughter and family.  We have all been thinking about you here and were concerned with your absence.  As you said family first, the rest will fall into place.

We made the 3 hour drive south from Orlando to Hollywood Fl today and checked in to Margaritaville Hollywood Resort.  Our grandsons had a blast trying a flow rider for the first time.  I’m sure they’ll want to do it again tomorrow.  I love these boys beyond words, but I won’t be sad to drop them off to their other grandparents on Tuesday in Amelia Island!  I’m pretty sure the other grandparents here know how I feel LOL.

And in the snail world, did you know that they are cannibals?  Lisa stepped on one today by accident and we saw this a few hours later.

I was today years old.
