Isn't it time for new kitten pics??!?!

He is so hard to get a picture of.  He is completely black and my floors are dark.  When he is asleep and his eyes are closed it shows as just a black blob.  Here is an ok picture of him awake and at warp speed.

I block it in the guest bedroom which is a no cat zone.  For some reason none of the cats bother my yarn while I am knitting.  My craft room is also a no cat room unless I am in there.

The shawl is lovely.

My dining room is a no cat zone- it’s hard to quilt with a cat on one end of the project! The only drawback is sometimes you need a dining room.

Lenny, our grandson is going into his Junior year at Villanova.  He will be living off-campus this year.  One of our granddaughters will be going to University of Maryland as a Freshman, and our other granddaughter will be starting her Freshman year at University of Rhode Island.  She is a surfer, and just asked our daughter if there'd be room in the truck to take her surfboard with her when she arrives on Campus.😊

We have always closed the guest bedrooms off.  It helps keep them clean.  My sewing room is closed for their safety and my sanity.

If Leonard sees a closed door within the house, he let it be known he's displeased.  Either by trying to push the door open or by meowing until someone opens it for him.  Often time, he'll just peak in and then move on so it's not that he wants to go into that room, he just wants the option to maybe go into that room sometime in the future.

There is one bedroom that has become a junk room/storage unit that I keep the door closed at all times, mainly because it's embarrassing. I'm afraid if he goes in there, he'd be lost forever. 😀

It took awhile but he finally has accepted that the door will always be closed. Funny, he can be anywhere in the house & every time I go into that room, he appears within seconds as if by magic.

For those that are curious behind Coal is a hog oiler.

Googling "Hog Oiler".

EDIT: Yep, it's exactly what it sounds like.

Thank you, Mimi!  We celebrated on Saturday with everyone, and this evening, I had another cake with candles to wish on.😊

Your great grandchildren are gorgeous, and your little Ledger is a real "spit fire"!  He sure is a brave little guy.  I hope he's not hurting too much with his broken arm.  God Bless them all!

We celebrated my granddaughters birthday in my house last night. Her parents are on their way to my other daughters college. They are driving .I believe it is a 14 hour trip plus food stops.

@Sea Dog  Good luck with your injection tomorrow, Greg.  I hope it makes your knee "behave" until after your Adventure cruise as well as until your knee replacement procedure.

Nancy, I presume you've moved from MN? If so, I'm constantly in your old "neighborhood" 😄.

Thanks to Bob @bobmacliberty, I've discovered the "Prey" series of John Sanford, and I'm hooked.... Very intelligent writing.

Started yesterday #15 !!!

Yes the port times really suck! 7am-3pm and the next day is cruising at sea.

I agree. Thhey always cut it shirt in Tortola. When we did that with NCL before the pier was built it was such a hassle tendering and then doing anything unless you took the cruise line excursion. After the pier was built and now that the ships dock it is much better, and no tendering, but still they leave at 3 or 4 pm.

The beaches are beautiful in Tortola and there are some nice restaurants walking distance to the port. My favorite spice store (Sunny Caribee) used to be there in Roadtown. Very nice painted souvenir cans containing caribbean spices, teas etc. . But the store and Sunny are no more. They have a port shopping area at the dock, usual jewelry, duty free, etc.

Just one thing to keep in mind: It takes a good 45 minutes to get back from White Bay, sometimes, depending upon sea/wind  conditions. Build that in the return time to be safe, if they are having you go to a "close to the dock marina" to board and not right next to the ship

Thanks for your input. I am figuring 45 minutes to return. They say the walk from the marina to the ship 3-5 minutes. I am a cautious person so I imagine we will be ready to leave white bay at 1pm.

We had to pick up some balloons last night, so I took my son and grandson out to eat.  I saw this menu.

At first, I thought Elvis Juice may have been something related to the anniversary of his passing, 46 years ago today.

I searched the drink, it it was not something that appealed to me at all.

This may be of interest to someone. A friend of mine has 2 tickets for the Final on Sunday ️. He paid £300 each but he didn't realise when he bought them months ago that it was going to be the same day as his wedding! If you are interested, he is looking for someone to take his place!! It's at Burnley Registry Office, at 4pm. The bride's name is Tracy
