Royal Caribbean Cruisers -- How Are Things Where You Are? (was "Routine" 😁 day in lockdown... how was yours?)

You can also go into the phone settings and scroll down until you see password.  Should be right above mail and contacts.  This will show you all of the passwords that are saved on your phone.  Select cruisecritic.com and delete the password.  The next time you go to CC, your password should not be automatically entered.  When you manually enter your new password, your phone should ask if you want to save it.

And when you find cruise critic on that list, it may be listed more than once.  On mine, it has three listings;  one for the cruise critic UK site; one for the US site, and one for the Australia site.   Whenever I go to cruise critic from an email notification link, it may go to the UK site, US, etc., depending on where the post referenced in the email came from.

It is kind of amusing that when I open up the saved password for the US site, it will say the password may not be secure because it is reused on the UK site.

Go for it.  It took me five months to make my weight loss graph look like this.

Tell me your secret, you always post such yummy looking food porn on your holidays.

I've got two months to lose my lockdown weight before my sons wedding and so far everything is a big fail

How many days did it take before the cruise director used the phrase "banana hammock"?

I avoid all cruise director jokes.  To me that is the most over rated job on a cruise ship.  When they come on stage at the end of the show, I am heading for the door.

As a child, I had a wind up plastic shaver with a cord and a suction cup. I would mimic my Dad in the morning shaving...........and I remember him saying that someday I would wish that I didn't have to shave - he was right!!!! I have a beard and mustache (but still have to trim them).

I have a beard that I initially grew in 1970 and a mustache that I have since 1961.However,a few years ago I realized that my wife never saw me without facial hair and I made my barber happy by letting him shave off both.My wife’s reaction was to grow it back immediately which is what I did.

Drove further north following the Penobscot Bay to where it is still a river.  Geo lesson:  Penobscot river, totaled with it's West and South branches is the longest river in Maine, dissecting the state to become that mighty Bay.  At the "Narrows" in Bucksport, one of my favorite bridges.  Single suspension span, makes it unusual and beautiful looking.

Remember the movie "The Hunt For Red October"? This is where they brought the sub to hide it.🙂

So today was a bit exciting.  Parking is in short supply in Gibraltar, we made a bid for one of a block of parking spaces that became available.  We got lucky and had the chance to pay £30000 for a parking space.  I got to use it for the first time on my commute to work today.

Actually it is as quick to catch a bus from where I work at the moment but we will use it for more than me going to work.

I had to laugh that it has cost us more to buy a space in a parking lot than it cost us for our flat in 1988 !

That is crazy expensive.  Do you own it for all time?  Or is that an annual fee?

Sunday we'll take our first vacation in almost 2 years....

Our DS2 and DIL "invited" us to join them [and, incidentally, baby sit] for a 3 nights stay in a kibbutz, on the southern shores of the Sea of Galilee.

I really hate to pay the exorbitant prices (350$ room + b'fast per night for very basic accommodations), but no other alternatives for this summer.... Should we travel abroad [where?] as a family, the grandkids would have to be quarantined for 2 weeks.

All the hotels and rooms across the country are fully booked for the following months, and add to that the hugely disappointed 50K people who booked the Odyssey -- left without an alternative....

I hope you & your family have a great trip, even if the destination isn’t your first choice.

None of my friends had bikes.  We all had roller skates and wore the skate key to tighten and loosen them around our necks.

I had my skate key right up to when we downsized to a condo. It disappeared in the move.
it was blank, but my skates were Union #5. The toe clamps would loosen and I came close to breaking my neck frequently.

Hope you have a fab time Dani,  a change of scenery is always a good thing and lovely to spend time with your son and family 😊

It's similar here, all the popular holiday spots are full and the few places left are very expensive.  In fact the sailcations seem quite good value in comparison.

We booked a cottage in a lovely area of Cornwall in early July.  It was booked six months ago so got it at near normal price.

I'm tempted to book a few days in London and visit all the tourist sights.

Enjoy the entire vacation. It will be so good to get away.

We're tentatively planning to drive to Charleston after Labor Day.
