What ingredients do you usually include in your pesto?

Garlic, basil, pine nuts, parmesan, olive oil.  We do it in a mortar and pestle, which is supposed to result in a better taste than using a food processor or blender.  I don't know if that's true, but it's definitely more work.

Artichoke veloute soup topped with a thin wafer. It had some herbs on top. No potatoes.

Then it's a Lobster Thermidor.

Last is a fried cheesecake.

No complaints about the food. However I liked Hooked better than 150.

Tomorrow night's dinner is at Mason's Jar.

I'm excited to try Hooked on Bella 2, if not sooner.  We have not yet cruised a ship with this restaurant.  Everything on the menu sounds yummy to us.

Nasty storms blew through our area last night.  So sad to see all the damaged homes, cars and over 50,000 people without any electricity.

Very thankful all is well on my street.

Shall see soon what my drive to work brings for detours, etc.

I read about weather event. Hope all is good with you, lucky Nanna, Marietta, and others in the area.

For once I'm reading breaking events as they happen and not 3 days later where I feel its strange to comment.

Happy birthday! @FromSea2ShiningSea

and belated birthday wishes to all those that I missed.

I second that comment. Baseball has been consuming our lives lately.

Happy Birthday @FromSea2ShiningSea.🎂

I had this a couple of weeks ago on Allure! I liked the cheesecake pieces, but when I asked the server what was in the cream, she said it was non-dairy whipped topping. Literally Cool Whip. 😂 I was not interested in that, so Andrew ate it for me.

The meal at 150 was really great, but I did think that part was odd.

My server said it was Mascarpone but it did not taste like that to me.

I followed all your posts about the Allure and enjoyed reading  them. I think you have an amazing family.
