I guess there are no deck parties. I loved the Love Boat themed deck party. Seems like since it’s outdoor it would be safe to have.🤷‍♀️ Let us know how the food is. I hope there is escargot! On our Christmas cruise 2 years ago on Pacific Princess (love the small ship) they did not serve it on our 14 day cruise.

I thought all Princess passengers were required to show proof of testing prior to initial embarkation. Does this mean that some countries will not accept Princess's "proof"?

I will be interested to know about testing prior to arrival at some ports and if you are free to tour on your own.

Just some more info…..we got 2 Princess bags in our cabin. Plenty of hangers and drawer space.
we have ordered drinks off the app on several occasions, once to our cabin and a few times while up on deck. They got to us in about 5 minutes. I even ordered hot tea once when I was outside.

gigi’s is excellent…pizza, pasta and salads. We will go back to that again.
you can get the Princess patter hard copy by just asking your room steward….

dining room hands us menus like normal, which is nice.

the ship is a little difficult to navigate at times…several dead ends…

we have a balcony cabin with one of those large balconies on dolphin deck aft…really nice, 3 times as big as the other balconies. The cabin is a bit smaller…but we wanted a large balcony with a shower…did not want a tub to have to step into.

everyone is wonderful!

We have also booked on of those deck 9 larger balconies. Does the shower have glass doors or curtains?
Thanks for posting.

From what I've read on other boards they have a small area blocked off that you can shop and maybe the museum, but I'm not sure on that. Other than maybe a block you cannot wander on your own.

coo359a2, we are also on the Dec. 20 and I'm glad to see the letter. From everything I have read on other boards it sounded like Dominica is currently the only port that we may be visiting with such stringent protocols since Grenada was removed as a port.

Thank you, kikiw!

Princess ships do not always dock at the pier in the town but at a cargo dock just out of town.

Thanks for posting.

All room types up to and including Mini Suites have shower curtains fleetwide on Princess ships.  Only full suites have glass enclosed showers.  Princess is remarkably consistent in this area.  That said the Royal class ships (including Enchanted) have larger showers than the older vessels and also have adjustable handheld shower heads as compared to the fixed shower heads on older ships.

I can’t quite tell from your photos, but did the Retreat Pool have steps actually into the pool, or just a ladder? This is kind of important to me. Thanks!

There are steps to get over the edge of the pool, but then to descend into the pool itself it is a ladder. Hope the upside down photos capture it.

Hmm...where are the chairs around the pool?

There were plenty of loungers around the pool this morning, so they must have just removed them for the wind. All the deck chairs on deck 7 were removed yesterday afternoon and evening, too.

Sorry….shower curtains but they are not clinging and it is a decent size shower, though the bathroom is small…the balcony has 2 chairs with foot rests and a table….love it!

MO JITO - re Upside down pics.

I have a suspicion re your upside down pics.  I may be wrong but maybe give it a try.

In the photo you posted of the bathroom, you were in the mirror.    You were holding your phone with the camera at the bottom.   If you turn your camera around so it is at the top, I think the photos will load properly.

info regarding Dominica port

Thank you!  Exactly the way I thought it would be.  At least there's shopping for those who aren't going off and exploring.  And from recollection it's quite a large shopping area.

Thanks for the info. I truly hope that the lack of chairs is not a daily occurrance. Guess I will find out next month.  Sometimes we want to be outside but in the shade. I was looking forward to using that area since we are booked on the Sun deck.

I’m almost certain that the chairs will be out for most of the voyage.  I think the day we boarded it was very windy, and we were a bit worried, but they were in place pretty quickly.

Thank you so very much for all this information.

Do you know what the smoking policy in the casino is going to be?

Hope all of you will have a great cruise.

Princess has always allowed smoking in one area of the casino except for formal nights and I see no signs of that changing

Retreat Pool, and lounging area one deck up on 18. Several of these lounge chairs setups with the planters; looked very inviting. A couple of hot tubs and showers on this level, too. (Sorry for upside down pictures again - argh 😠!) Corrected.😉

I looked up our Cruise on ncl.com as if I was a new cruiser and the itinerary was just reversed. No Nassau!  I have no idea if that’s the way it is but that is strange.

You would think NCL would go ahead and tell us about the port swap. For me, Nassau is another sea day.

We are sailing the Enchanted Feb. 28th, '22...hoping the mask rules will be eliminated by then..they probably will since numbers have fallen except for the midwest now...thanks for all the feedback...would LOVE to know what beers are on tap ( not bottled!!) at the bars..thanks!!

Would someone be willing to ask the head waiter in the MDR if they have the Princess vegan menu on the Enchanted? This menu was recently reported to have been found on the Regal Princess. Attached is a photo which you could show him/her. TYIA.

Does the TV in stateroom have an hdmi port?  And how high is TV mounted?  Thanks!

Fyi, we were just on the Majestic.  The TV's had an accessible HDMI port, but there was no way to change the input to HDMI.

We had to stream (Netflix, Hulu, Spectrum) on our tablet.
