Sad to 'sea' all the changes because of the flu.

 

I believe they are needed for safety.

 

But, I also believe they finally hit my 'tipping point'

with no dinner buffet.

More people have died from COVID-19 than the past 5 flu seasons combined.

Whatever. There was a year more died from that oxytocin than died this year of covid. So americans got busy trying to stop that.

Already got a thread about no buffets at dinner time, here is same subject to me except someone wants to announce he doesnt like what might happen on future cruises in his own thread. ..people got bored and now off the topic of buffets. Which is what this op said is his tipping pt.

2017-2018 FLU 61,000 died.

Remember. We have a vaccine for the FLU. How many do not get the shot every fall?

So, trying to compare the Flu to the Covid19 is not apples for apples. Not even close.

Try the following. The number heart disease could be much lower if peopled cared about their health.

2020 causes of deaths

Heart Disease 655,381

Cancer 599,274

Accidents 167,127

I think you may mean Oxycontin, or other opioids.   

Oxytocin is a hormone released by the body that helps with bonding,  childbirth, sexual reproduction and milk production.   I doubt this is a big issue with people dying.

Spell check keeps fixing words for me. Worse one is a guy in my game named ooops. Spellcheck keeps helping me and changes word to poops. So embarrassing.

 

Yes, I dont always type perfectly but half my typos are spell check helping me.

On 35 cruises my wife and I have eaten in the buffet a handful of times, so this isn’t an issue for us.

Over 70 and 99%+ died of something else and not Covid. Yes doctor, he had 95% blockage of his aorta, his brain aneurism was hemorrhaging, he has had pancreatic cancer for 7 years, smoked for 60 years, and has mesothelioma. Why are we labeling this a Covid death? Doctor: Because we can bill more to insurance.

 

I know this was an answer to the other post, but your question is the one I go through all the time. We need a committee to re-review all deaths labeled Covid and have the panel truly declare what the cause was. Most are not Covid related.
